Better Start Bradford awards £314,500 to four local innovative projects

Following the successful pilot series in 2018 in Barkerend and Woodroyd Children's Centres, ChildsSide is really excited to have received funding and be bringing the fun, practical workshops to the whole Better Start area.

ChildsSide aims to equip you to make a greater impact on a grandchild's life.
 
Improve confidence, family health and wellbeing with up-to-date information on brain neurobiology and emotional regulation, within an informative, supportive and safe environment. Presented by professional facilitators, sensitive to personal history and ACE's/trauma aware.
 
We will be recruiting at events as soon as we are able, given current government guidelines.


All eligible grandparents will be able to access FREE workshops. 
 • Able to attend all 6 week, 2 hr workshops 
• willing to speak and write intermediate level English 
• caring for grandchild 3 and under

We're members of the ACE's Scotland Forum and excited about new developments in Yorkshire.
ChildsSide's services continue to be trauma and ACE based - developing new tools and information to benefit children everywhere. We support the Leeds ACEs Hub, advocating for communities towards happier childhoods and a reduction in ACEs.
